2023 is coming to end and it's been a rollercoaster ride of all sorts. I decided to use 5 words
Awesome
Scary
Disappointing
Tragic
Rewarding

Awesome
As far as a family we did great. We travelled all over the place, Chicago, L.A., San Diego, Boston, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Savannah, Charlotte and more. Moving to the East Coast and being able to see so much in so little time is awesome.
My brother came to visit for the first time in 6 years and loved Charleston. Friends came and went. All in all AWESOME.

Scary
We experienced our second Hurricane, Tropical Storms and Tornado Watch, some Health Scares.

Disappointing
Putting it all on line as an Entrepreneur and actually doing well, it just sucks how CA is ruining the small businesses. Taxes, Fees, ridiculous rules and regulations and penalties for those whom built the economy (this goes across the board in the country).

Tragic
We lost a beloved Pet, the way it went down haunts us all. I lost one of my best friends this year. Su***de, Mental Health etc is real. Seek help if you need it.

Rewarding
I became a coach of a U-13 Soccer Team. I cannot tell you how much this has meant to me. Seeing these little rascals come in and grow over the last 6 months, has been something that I will cherish forever and carry into 2024.
EO has been a great outlet for me. Meeting so many people with many different businesses, from many different backgrounds has been a big help.
Our Team on the Aolani has been fantastic and we look forward to 2024.
Last, but certainly not least has been seeing our two boys grow, one an amazing Artist and Musician, the other a Jock and Entrepreneur. But I could not have done it without my wife. She is an amazing mother, loving and caring wife.

While I look at 2024 with mixed emotions, 2023 has been a good year, not great, but good. Onward and Forward.
