The Canadian government announced on Thursday in a statement citing repression of nationwide protests and citing the Iranian regime's "outrageous and systematic violations of human rights" in the suppression of protesters, that it facilitates the conditions for extending the presence of Iranian citizens who have visa and temporary residence in the country.
