You may have seen a new face around the shop... Everybody meet Kieran (he/they), our newest luthier!

Lover of the odd and uncommon, Kieran has been involved with music since starting to play piano at the age of five. In their teenage year’s after picking up guitar they heard about a school where you could learn to work on instruments and the seed was sown. Eventually he became a graduate of the Guitar Program at Redwing learning the basics and dabbling in more complex CNC/CAD projects alongside building some guitars (frog shaped). He has taken particular fascination in the acoustic instruments of the world with the Ronroco and Shamisen being the current favorites. They love to talk about the sentimental heirlooms that just need a bit of love to be playing again. Non-Guitar related activity he participates in include but not limited to, Dungeons & Dragons, board gaming, attempting new recipes, collecting new samples for the large sound library that exists within their brain, and little electronics projects.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
