Save this post as a reminder!! All RVs need maintenance, even renovated RVs ones. And don't get hung up on how cute an interior is when you're buying. Always get it inspected.

We renovated this RV for a client a few years ago. Recently she got ahold of us saying there was water coming in and she needed help. The rig made its way from New York to our shop in Utah, and I can't believe what we're seeing.
The roof is toast. There are 2 massive holes letting water in, and the rubber seals around the slides are goners. They're letting water in too.
The situation this rig is in isn't necessarily anyone's fault. It's not the client's fault; she doesn't know RVs. She just needs portable housing to go to horse shows. It's not our fault; we didn't buy or sell the rig. We were only hired to spruce up the interior a few years ago.
This rig needs some serious maintenance horse power behind it. These types of repairs aren't really in our wheelhouse though so we're going to to tag team with a standard RV shop. We will jump in and fix anything about the renovation that gets altered during the repairs.
This rig is in for a fresh start at life aaaaand there are some residential mini split ACs in its future too π
