Donna Lou Kuch
July 21st, 1944 - December 2nd, 2025
Age: 81 years

Donna Lou Kuch, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, at McLaren Northern Michigan, at the age of 81.

Born on July 21, 1944, in Saginaw, Michigan, Donna was the cherished daughter of Rudolph and Mildred (Nickodemus) Fischer. In 1965, she married the love of her life, the late Richard Kuch. Together they built a beautiful life, raising three children and sharing countless adventures. Donna had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Whether hunting and fishing alongside Richard, tending to her garden, or simply enjoying nature's quiet beauty, she found joy in the world around her. She also delighted in traveling with her husband, especiallywith their trips to casinos, where they made lasting memories. Above all, Donna's greatest devotion was to her family, who remained the center of her heart throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Carmen (Everette) Schultz of Naubinway, MI, and Debbie (Ralph) Bright of Henderson, NV; her son, Brian (Jodi) Kuch of Freeland; and her grandchildren, Jessica (Trent) Limban, Samantha (Dieter) Gottschalk, Caleb Kuch, Everette Schultz, and Megan Kuch. Donna's legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Stevie Limban, Kasper Gottschalk, and Esme Gottschalk. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Howard Kuch; sisters-in-law, Carol Kuch and Marilyn Kuch; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, sister and brother-in-law Betty and Robert Carpenter, and her brothers Harry and Howard Fischer.

Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and family. Donna will be remembered for her warmth, her adventurous spirit, and the unwavering care she gave to those she loved.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Straits Area Senior Living community for the compassionate care offered to Donna.

Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609. Rev. Joshua Becker will officiate. A Private burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609; and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609.

Erwin M. “Earl” Urbanke,

Saginaw, Michigan



Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at his home with his family at his side. Age 82 years. Son of the late Henry and Anna (Bebek) Urbanke, Erwin was born June 25, 1943, in Alexanderfeld, Austria and moved to the United States when he was 15 years old. Earl was a 1962 graduate of Saginaw High School. He proudly served four years in the U.S. Marine Corp and was a member of American Legion Post # 229. He married the love of his life, Mary Margaret Brewster on July 6, 1973. She survives him. Earl was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic for Doc Heinz contracting for 35 years and created many lakes and ponds in the tri-city area. He loved farming for over 30 years. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Earl enjoyed his motor home and traveling.



Surviving besides his wife Mary Margaret are one son, Matthew and Amie Urbanke, Birch Run; two daughters, Christine and David Bedore, Harrison; Janette and John Musselman II, Edenville; eight grandchildren, Matthew and Luke Urbanke, Stanley, Garrett and Devin Puchacz, Joshua Damsen, Chelsey (Shanyne) Snellenberger, John Musselman III; 8 great-grandchildren, Chloe, Travis, Autumn, Landon, Aiden, Alexis, Dylan and Xavier; one sister, Margit George, Three Rivers; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law, Derrick and Marian Brewster, Saginaw; Wayne and Peggy Brewster, Roscommon; Vickie Goddard, Florida; Danae Brewster, Sanford; many nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by one son, William J. Smith Jr.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Henry J. and Irene Brewster; his sister, Edith H. Sapak; sisters-in-law, Debra Brewster and Rhonda Becker; brothers-in-law, Eugene, Henry, Lance, Craige, and Wayde Brewster.



Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Charles Campbell will officiate with Military Services conducted by the U.S. Marine Corp and American Legion Post #439. A private burial will take place in Ziegler West Cemetery in Albee Township, Michigan. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
