A long time ago (over 20 years) we were given a redwood bench. It had two seats and a small arm rest in-between. We loved that bench and sat in it for many hours and for several years. My husband Brian repaired it so many times because the wood would rot, or break, or it would need a paint job. Finally when he could no longer repair it, we tried to look for a new one without any luck. One day, Brian decided to make one and use a similar way to build the seats to give it the comfort we so loved but instead of a wood product that would not last long, he decided to use steel and cut each piece to hand weld it together. Then he took it to a professional powder coater for the beautiful finish then hand cut each piece of Trex(tm) material to fit in the arm rest and the table with an end result that is a beautiful hand constructed comfortable two seat bench. To complete a beautiful patio set, he then built chairs and a coffee table. We hope you love it as much as we do!
