Summer Sisters

We are a craft collective formed by friends who grew up boating on the Chesapeake Bay. Every summer we would descend upon the BRYC in our parent's and grandparent's wooden boats. We lived in bathing suits. waterskiied, feasted on crabs with old bay under a sprawling oak tree, frolicked on Eastern shore beaches you could only get to by boat. ms with our toes. You name it...we were blessed to live it... It was a magical childhood. And it was there that the original Summer Sisters, our mothers, taught us to be crafty wherever we went with whatever we found. Wildflowers in wine carafes, beachy wood adorondack chairs, coffee tin vases of feathers for center pieces...let's just say that seaglass and driftwood artistry runs deep in our veins. So it is with the spirit of their craftiness and ability to create beauty with the natural things around us, that we bring you nautical inspired original pieces that would make our mommas proud. We believe that crafting as a collective inspires creativity, collaboration, chillaxation, and a way to cherish our coastal community.
