One of our latest creations: This desk is made from a live-edged piece of black walnut from the base of a large black walnut tree. We installed wood butterfly pieces to stabilize the natural cracks in the air-dried piece of wood and finished it with a nice, clean oil rub instead of a glossy lacquer.
