I'm a professional wanderer, which means I can change my mind and direction in a split second. I can’t wait to scour California for treasures. Today, I stumbled upon some awesome finds, but decided not to splurge. Eight months ago, I'd have bought those two dresses in a heartbeat for $30 each, but now I'm learning to restrain myself. I've mastered the art of knowing what I can handle and what I'm good at - but let's just say that big dresser has been on my mind nonstop since I left the store. Tomorrow's another day, and I'm ready to pounce at 9 am when the store opens.

I get so flipping excited when I find pieces of furniture. I’m dying to find out what wood is underneath. So if you stroll through my shop you’re gonna see little sand marks on almost everything I purchased.
I don’t wanna think anything’s wrong with me, I like to think of it as just pure curiosity.

People think single nightstands are problematic, but they're just misunderstood, apparently. I've bought and sold more single nightstands than I can shake a stick at. The thing about this business is, no matter what you're selling, there's someone out there who'll buy it. Sometimes it takes a while, but like I always say, I've got time.

So I've got a few projects going on, but this tiger oak dresser is the one I'm obsessed with - the original hardware is like the cherry on top. Dating back to the 1890-1900s, this late Victorian or Golden Oak piece is making an appearance at my next vintage fair.

Customizing these little beauties for a very special lady. This is really the first time that I have purchased something and sold it before it was done. I don’t think I like it. I like it better the other way. I got so frustrated with these pieces and normally what I do is I just put them back in my shop and start working on another piece. Well I couldn’t do this this time because I have somebody waiting for it. I would much rather find them, rehab them and then put them up for sale. That way I can take my time.
