BUT I did manage to get a piece done. Cute little sofa table. Very light stain, vintage hardware, finished in a beautiful blue. Is it farmhouse? Cottage? Or rustic? I don’t know but I like it ☺️

When I pick a piece (or in this case pieces) of furniture I get it for either the hardware or the style, the price, and that’s its real wood.

I’d say about 90% of the time I think “this one will be quick and easy!” And then something always goes wrong. I loose the hardware and destroy some part of it and it ends up taking me weeks or even months to finish. Plus I’m juggling those 3 kids and a part time job 🤪 these end tables have been half sanded in my garage for at least 6 months.

I get frustrated during the process, but as I get close to being finished I start to get all excited in how it finally turns out. I want someone to look at a piece I have made and say “that is exactly what I have been looking for!”

Hoping these beauties will be finished by next week!
