♻🛍🌎 About me: LATote.net is a collaborative of two Etsy shops.

Terry and I are inspired by the realization we have too much stuff in our world. My preference to have a longer Tote strap for my market bag. So, I created my bag by adding a Vintage belt to replace the handles. I loved it, and received so many compliments. I realized that I embarked on a great idea and went forward to start LAtote. I have been juried and approved by organizations that support han

dmade Eco-friendly crafts. About the bag: Re-purposed discarded (New)upholstery samples that were headed to landfill have been sewn with a serger for durability into open tote style bag. They are sent from SC to CA without handles. Art of recycling other materials such as Turnouts, Mudcloths, Army bags, Mexican Wools are just a few additional materials used in this labor of love that I sew as well. Each bag will be dremmeled,riveted & painted to match style. I Re-cycle and re-work the Vintage Leather Concho/Fringe/Braid/Tie belts or Guitar/Banjo/Canvas Straps found all over the USA, I affix the belts into cross-body or single shoulder carry strap option for every bag. About the mission:
50% of my purchase of every bag sewn (in the USA), will go to help support the orphanage of GRACE BAPTIST SCHOOL FOR THE HEARING & HEARING IMPAIRED~Tirupattur, INDIA
