Last week, Hingeto was written up in ApparelNews (trade publication - link in the comments) and today we would like to announce the launch of our new website + private beta on ProductHunt.

Our marketplace platform has been in beta for some time but we've been enabling retailers like Pacsun and publishers like Scary Mommy to do major numbers through our platform.

Last week a few of our team members got the amazing opportunity to attend the Startup Grind Global Conference in Silicon Valley. During the two day conference they engaged with a community of start-ups, investors, and industry leaders gaining invaluable education, connections, and inspiration to help take our business to the next level!

We look forward to one day being able to contribute as much to this event as we gained!

Meet our Co-Founder and CEO Leandrew Robinson who was
born & raised in Berkeley CA! The following are a few highlights of his entrepreneurial jeourney:

· His first business was a hot dog stand in a Church parking lot at age 11.

· During his time at UC Berkeley he started a t-shirt company called Ragamuffin & a non-profit to help low income students of color get into top tier Universities. His company got the most press for its Obama shirt in 2008(Swipe right to view it modeled on his beautiful wife, Kacey, with whom he as two amazing kids)

· In 2009 he met the CEO of Karmaloop (a top streetwear ecommerce co.), the two instantly hit it off and Leandrew’s entrepreneurial talents took residence at the company.

· Not long after, he started PLNDR.com (under Karmaloop’s umbrella) and took it from idea to $4M year one, then $16M year 2, then $26M, then $38M. Along the way he took on several divisions and work his way up to become #2 at Karmaloop.

· All the years of working in the retail space helped him realize retailers & brands biggest need to avoid inventory risk, which lead to him helping co-founded Hingeto in 2015 to give them the Superpowers they need to succeed, and the rest is history!

Our company is so proud to have such an intelligent, motivated and dedicated leader who will stop at nothing until he has helped change the face of retail forever.
