at this time I am only taking orders locally to Central Oregon. Hi I'm Ryan,
Back in August of 2007 my oldest son Bryson then 11 years old had fallen between his mattress and the bed rail that was supposed to keep him from falling out of bed and he became trapped and suffocated. Bryson was physically and mentally disabled with low vision and low muscle tone which made it more difficult for him to
pull himself up. After having my own two children Bryson and Trenton with disabilities for 18 years and after the tragic loss of my oldest son Bryson, I have decided to build a bed that would be safer for Trenton. I had looked at other beds on the market that did not meet any of the needs for my Son and seemed to be of poor quality. You can feel secure with Bryson’s buddy beds with the thought of the engineering and passion I put in while making each one. These beds are made from solid oak construction. The drawers and main supports are made from ¾ inch plywood. The front bi-folding gate folds easily out of the way for easy access for you or a lift. The bed is tall enough when you pick up an individual out of bed you have a lot less stress on low back. Other beds that
I have researched are 15 to 20 inches lower. For ease of making the bed there is a fold down locking gate shown in pictures. The mattress clearance is just enough room for making bed with sheets, blanket and comforter. The head of bed rises for the comfort of the individual. (Mattress not included) these beds can be made smaller or larger, taller or shorter. Feel free to give me suggestions on a product you wish to be available.
