Really nice 5/4 walnut getting ready to air dry before the kiln.

If interested in saving money you can buy the walnut at half the price of kiln dried walnut and dry it yourself. Message for prices if interested (have not taken measurements at point of post so that’s why I don’t have transparent public prices).

Please read, sort of important if you use firewood!!!

Good morning everyone. We have another announcement. Normally the announcements are fun, unfortunately this one is just informative explaining the possible firewood price increases.

As of right now we are still selling our firewood at $125 per facecord. We truly hope to keep these prices the same. That may not be possible with the increase in industrial products that influence us directly. I will break down the increases we face and the projected price increase coming early August. It may be a good idea to buy now while prices are the same and holding on to the wood for this upcoming winter season.

Our prices are projected to increase 40% making our firewood $175 per facecord if our industrial supplies do not decrease.

I’m sure most of you are aware of fuel prices.

Gas is up 20%
Diesel is up 14%
Oil based products we use are up 45%
Steel is up 65%
Automotive and machine parts are up 17%
And wages may have to increase 10-20% to keep up with price surges everywhere.
These are macro products and does not include our insurances or surges in admin programs we have to use for small business.

This ultimately affects our prices. We will not profit anymore than we already do. I hope you understand and trust this. If prices on the macro products don’t decrease we will have to raised.

Good morning Ladina Lumber friends, family and foes. We are gearing up to have a wonderful year in lumber. The. Focus this year is too slow down and be more selective on our tree work and rebuild the lumber side of our operation.

With that said we are reintroducing and old favorite at a much better price than before. 40% cheaper than before. That’s the wood disc, round or cookie. Please like and share

The price is $3 each. That is the bulk price. We sold these for years at $5 each and discounting to $3 after a larger order. That is not the case anymore. We are selling them at $3 each no matter the quantity. The reason is the large surplus of logs at the lumber mill suitable for these cuts.

We have left room for people to buy tons of our rounds and mark them up and sell in their shops (we encourage it)

These are sold as is. We do not treat them nor do we kiln dry them (those extra services bring the price up).

They are used for cutting boards, center pieces, decorative blocks in gardens, smalll projects, wood burning and laser engraving, axe targets, and. Many other things.

As for custom orders. We will cut and have roughly 200 on hand at any given time ready for pick up. Custom orders regarding a specific size quantity and the like will not be processed without a deposit of half the order and estimate/contract/invoice written up.

We will be selling the rounds out of three locations. Redford, Carleton and oak park.

As of now Redford is available until further notice.

Small problems met with steadfast solutions equal quality results. This green spruce was uprooted due to the recent spell of high winds we faced. The tree had been dead a little while and the root system had decayed (not to mention spruce trees have very shallow root systems). The mighty red maple is was pinned in protected the patio below.
