Fanciful Furniture They take great pride in breathing new life into the vintage pieces, giving them many more years of enjoyment.

We are two friends, in Raleigh, NC, that love to get creative together turning ho-hum or down right ugly furniture into gorgeous pieces to be cherished for years to come. Mary Feeley and Grace Gates are just a couple of gals from Raleigh, NC that became fast friends over 20 years ago through teaching school together and tackling numerous DIY projects at each other’s homes. windled and children left the nest it was time for a new endeavor....

Loving garage sales and thrift stores constantly put them in direct contact with beautifully made, older furniture that perhaps had a few flaws. With painted furniture being so popular these days Mary and Grace decided to try their hats at restoring well made furniture that very well could have headed for the city dump.

This desk! We stripped this antique desk and to our surprise it had a beautiful wood grain underneath all those layers. We topcoated with h**p oil and dressed her up with new hardware and new drawer liner. Wowza!

We just finished a very special refurb for a customer who wanted to keep a dresser that belonged to her mother and had been in the family for many years. She knew it needed some TLC in order for it to fit into her home decor. She did a great job picking out a paint color and new k***s to match. She was thrilled with the end result and we were thankful to help with the transformation.

This project was a BIG transformation. We are in love with this color and have used it on many of our furniture projects. It’s that perfect robin’s egg blue with grey undertones.
The table could be utilized as a side table, console table or would make a great bar, perhaps on a nice screened in porch. It would be beautiful in a beach or lakeside home as well. The table is available for purchase.
