A couple thing to keep you moving this holiday season.

Watch out for suspicious e-mails or ads offering deals to good to be true. If they want your information or cash deals report them to the site.

Watch for applications telling you your computer has a infection or problem that has never been there before.

Keep your anti-virus updated and a good file cleaner running weekly.

And always ask if your not sure. Its a lot better to catch problem in the beginning when a lot of damage hasent been done.

Why is it that just because someone fixes a small problem they start operating a computer repair shop. Be weary of who you hire to fix your computer issues. I have seen a lot of bad work recently. USE CAUTION!!!

When running a wireless router on your network always make sure you secure the connection, don't leave a open network. Encrypt the connection with the highest available on the router.

Hard Drives are crashing a lot lately. Make sure you back up your personal data (pictures, doc files, Ect.) to another storage devise. ECS is currently working on a website that will hopefully launch in the next couple months. If any one has a suggestion on what they would like to see be available on the site please post. We have not picked a website name yet but have a couple we are tossing around.

Always back-up your system at least once a month. I have seen a lot of computers crashing and the data was lost because of hardware failure. Always make back-up copies of your personal data not on the same drive your system runs on, if you need assistance call us we can back-up your data to DVD/CD or any other media you would like at low rates.
