What a fun German Schmear this was! This beautiful home has been going through renovations, and this is just one more piece too the makeover! They ended up removing the mantle and I filled the left over large holes and made them look like they were never there which I definitely accomplished! This is not paint, this is diluted Aquastone plaster.

This is the rest of the projects from the last home—deneenschamerinteriordesign from kpdesignsgroup KP Designs Group chose these finishes to complete her design, The powder bath upstairs had a beautiful vanity with a dated color, they chose my Finley finish for it. The client added in an heirloom stool to match and I suggested a monogram stencil for the top. All great choices! What do you think?

Fun project working with deneenschamerinteriordesign from kpdesignsgroup KP Designs Group. Took this lower level bar from that orange wood tone to a beautiful Espresso. She asked me to add in the mantel across the room to match—more from this home coming up!

I’ve been anxiously waiting to post this particular job. I love when my designers challenge me with a project I can help them with. Celeste from KP Designs Group did just that! The first photo is the actual wallpaper sample from the custom wallpaper company. The client loved the design for her nursery for her first child, but when the wallpaper came in, they did not like the colors or the paper itself. Since I can make my own stencils, I was able to replicate the wallpaper and actually tweak some of the individual flowers so this does not look like a repeat after repeat of a design. It just flows flower to flower all around the room. The next post tomorrow will show you the after!

Here's a kitchen I finished end of summer I have not posted yet. I did the walls in a soft 2 color glaze and redid the hood in a plaster finish trimmed in gold to match the hardware in the kitchen. It looks like Facebook posted them backwards, so the before photos are at the end!

Fireplace Friday?! Here’s a fireplace makeover I haven’t posted yet. This was done with 2 different plasters to update the main bedrooms fireplace! Client was very happy! What a big difference this makes and much more affordable than replacing it!
