Hear tell: true stories told live

Hear tell: true stories told live Hear tell is a live storytelling event produced by Elise Pepple in Portland, Maine.

Sometimes taking place in an upholstery shop, other times in a bakery turned into a bar, Hear Tell is live storytelling event dedicated to promoting good gossip--the kind that spreads and inspires. For each event 5 people tell true stories around a theme in under ten minutes. If nobody's cranky, three audience members are picked to tell three minute impromptu stories. Hear tell has a big fat crush on similar projects like Backfence PDX in The Other Portland and Stoop Storytelling in Baltimore.
