Dear Garden Folk,
This is a call to action
It has been heartbreaking to see our most vulnerable neighbors threatened by the withholding of SNAP benefits. Even though November benefits have been distributed in Oregon, there is no guarantee that they will continue: It’s a fragile and terrifying time for so many who live on the edge.
There is no more fundamental human need than food, and our community is in crisis. If you find yourself with the luck and privilege of stability or abundance in this perilous moment, it’s a crucial time to be decisive and share in that abundance.
There are so many amazing orgs and ways to give that it can be overwhelming! So we’ll keep it simple.
Just PICK ONE from this short list. A small gift on your part could be a big one for someone in need.

There are so many ways to give and to demonstrate love and care. If you have the impulse to give, follow that impulse.
With love and gratitude,
