Inspired by I tried my hand at an all skew tree. The one on the left is 100% skew, the one on the right is my favorite spindle gouge. The skew actually came out better but I will change the base next time and use another tool for it.

A few examples of the “banister collection” which are mini trees made from recycled balusters from our banister which I removed as we upgrade our trim to a craftsman style. If you want your own set of recycled oak mini trees let me know before they sell out.

The other side of the same log as the previous walnut bowl post but it has some cool holes. It was also wet and I knew the holes might make it explode so I added some glue to strengthen them and was presently surprised when the super thin rim stayed together when it warped. The result is also unique.
