🤎 A little life update from me…

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, and I just wanted to pop in and say I’m sorry for being MIA. I’ve been dealing with a bit of an anxiety flare-up lately, and some days that just means slowing down and giving myself a little extra grace.

But even on the quieter days, I’ve still been keeping busy behind the scenes, working away on some home decor goodies that I can’t wait to share with you all.

I’ll be setting up this Saturday at the Dixon Harvest Market from 9 AM–2 PM! 🍂 I’ve been working hard on getting things ready, and I’d love for you to stop by, say hello, and see what I’ve been creating.

Thank you for being here, for supporting my little business, and for giving me a reason to keep doing something I truly love. It means more than you know. 🫶🏻

I hope to see some familiar faces (and meet some new ones!) on Saturday! 🍁

So glad I saved these old bottles we found under the porch floor of the Dixon house we are renovating! 🖤 They cleaned up so nice!

The green coca cola bottle was bottled and distributed out of Fremont NE, as there is a stamped label on the bottom of it! The clear soda bottles label says it came from the Nesbit Bottling Co. in Lincoln Nebraska.

The before photo right after I found them last weekend is in the comments. 🖤 Anyone else a nerd for old bottles? 🤓 They are so much fun!

A little “meet me”…🥹

Hi friends! I thought it might be a good time to introduce myself, especially with a few new faces here at The Nebraska Nest.

I’m the person behind all the furniture, vintage finds, old treasures, and handmade pieces you see popping up here. I’ve always had a soft spot for antiques and things with a little history. There’s just something about finding an old, forgotten piece and giving it a new life that I absolutely love.

My goal with The Nebraska Nest is to create and share pieces that bring that timeless, cozy, collected-at-home feeling into your space. I love mixing old with new, restoring furniture, creating little treasures, and finding beauty in things that someone else might have overlooked. 🤎

The Nebraska Nest is a little side venture that I’ve poured a whole lot of love into, and I’m so thankful I get to share it with you. I’m just a Nebraska girl who loves old things, creating, decorating, and all the charm that comes with living in this beautiful state.

Thank you for being here, following along, and supporting my little business. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or just found The Nebraska Nest, I’m SO happy you’re here.

On my travels through Nebraska this morning, heading to Nebraska's Junk Jaunt 🚗, I made a stop in Randolph on my way & discovered the cutest coffee shop, The Breakroom ✨ ☕️

I foresee myself making many more trips to Randolph to stop here! It’s just the cutest shop and it had the sweetest workers!
