The Frankenweenie house is finally done. I started this dog house a couple months ago and it’s now finished. I started with 5 pallets, used some free plywood scrap, then added some styrofoam foam boards for insulation all around, then added the reclaimed fence boards to the walls. 3” memory foam floor with carpet added on top with a couple blankets for extra warmth and comfort. Then I decided to add a rusty tin roof to bring the exterior design all together. It’ll keep the weather out very well. I have it as close to the house as I can so the dogs can get in and out of it easy enough and keep the entry in the shade and away from most of the weather that blows through. They’re pretty happy with it. I made this for fun really. The dogs are mostly indoor dogs but I figured I’d see what I could come up with for them to have some comfort when the whole family is out for the whole day.

Anyway, thought I’d share with y’all.

I built this for my daughter today. It’s a small entry bench measuring 35”x15”. Sanded smooth but I didn’t spray any polyurethane on it like I normally do. She wants me to stain it to match her wall coat rack. Someone do you may know I HATE painting and staining. I even told her future builds for her, she can stain herself lol.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted but I haven’t been working much lately. However I just finished this storage coffee table with cast iron hardware that I just finished. Turned out nice.
