I recently left a stable job to pursue something I am passionate about. Trees, woodworking and preserving our natural resources. I am not your typical tree hacker. In fact, I am a tree hugger and love to make heirloom wood furniture from the trees that I take down. That being said, not all trees make good quality furniture and do sometimes end up as firewood. It may sound altruistic but I started Idaho Timber Works in an effort to give new life to trees that might otherwise end up in a landfill.
