In early 2024, our world turned upside down when our dad was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. To say this news crippled our family is an understatement. A man who was always busy and full of energy suddenly found himself in the toughest fight of his life. But if you know our dad, you know that he's never one to sit still.
As part of his healing journey, and to keep himself occupied while at home, Dad started a small side hustle—buying and selling items online. What began as a way to pass time quickly turned into a passion, offering him a sense of purpose and joy during this challenging time. More than just a hobby, this venture has also become a lifeline, helping to offset the overwhelming medical bills that continue to mount.
In addition to cancer, Dad suffers from degenerative disc disease, which requires lifelong surgeries. When combined with chemo and nerve damage, it makes walking—and working—nearly impossible. While our ultimate goal is to help him retire, this is a meaningful first step.
