We've been pretty quiet on this page recently, but we've been staying busy with work, seminary, outdoor projects, and raising kids! James spent some time in the workshop a couple weeks ago, building a sandbox for our backyard. As you can see, Bennett has been upgraded to Sanding Apprentice! Gabby is shooting for a promotion to Junior Builder. Stay tuned - our market season starts at the end of May! We'll update this page with our products and market dates as time and children allow ❤️

We are shipping two custom cutting boards today! James carefully packaged them last night, and Gabby put on the finishing touches this morning.

Looking for a Valentine's Day gift? I'm booked for custom orders through the end of February, but everything in these pictures is ready to ship! Prices are in the photos. Shipping costs vary but are usually between $10 and $20 (or free pickup at my home in Platteville).

Every board purchased by February 13 will come with a free tin of cutting board conditioner!

I will accept two custom board orders each month, starting in March.

Do you prefer small or large cutting boards?

I (Michelle) think bigger is better because I expect everything I'm chopping to fit on the cutting board - even when I'm making a double batch of scalloped potatoes! In hindsight, I should have grabbed a larger cutting board for the ham - that was a struggle. 😆

This morning, I (Michelle) tried to help James by taking pictures of his latest end-grain cutting board. Unfortunately, I learned a new fact: purple cabbage juice can stain wood. 😬 Do you know any other foods that will stain wooden cutting boards? Please, help me prevent any other mishaps 😅
