Toronto City Kitties

Toronto City Kitties This is an informational page to guide caregivers of pet cats and neighborhood stray cats to low-cost spaying / neutering services locally.

THE OBJECTIVE OF HOLDING RASCAL UNIT LOW-COST SPAY NEUTER CLINICS FOR CATS IN TORONTO:

1) To make low-cost spaying and neutering service available and accessible to Toronto residents; especially the multitude of those living on low or fixed incomes.

2) To prevent more unwanted litters to be born to unaltered free-roaming and homeless neighborhood cats. Low-cost spaying and neutering efforts are

aimed at helping to reduce the homeless pet population and provide assistance to responsible pet owners and those, within the community, that are caring for the increasing numbers of homeless, roaming cats. The need for help is great. and those on fixed incomes or those caring for stray cats, are most grateful for these clinics and leads to other means of financial assistance. ABOUT OUR HOST ORGANIZATION:

A host organization was needed to book Rascal Unit and SpayNeuterOhio of Jackson Township, Ohio stepped up to help. SpayNeuterOhio also handles all money and pays Rascal Unit directly. SpayNeuterOhio is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization whose mission is to reduce the number of free-roaming stray animals and animals euthanized in shelters by providing low-cost spay/neuter access in Stark County, Harrison County, Jefferson County and eventually throughout Ohio via the RASCAL low-cost mobile surgical unit and other means. SpayNeuterOhio's website is http://www.spayneuterohio.org

A very young Sassy was entering her first heat when she was found entering and exiting beneath a ramp on a front porch in Toronto. Once she became socialized, it was easy to snuggle her and place her in a carrier. This beauty is spayed, is FIV neg and is ready to go to an approved loving home.

I miss this baby. Thankfully she was not pregnant when she was spayed.Thank you Beth.
