Jeremiah 29:12-14a

“Then you will call on me and come to pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek
me and find me when you seek me with your whole heart. ‘I will be found by you’, declares the LORD, ‘and will bring you back from captivity…’ ”

This verse contains the first step I took towards being free from the captivity of what I now know were my trauma stories.

I was so beat down by my trauma stories and the choices I made due to them, I had gotten to the point where I physically and emotionally felt like I was on my way outta here… I remember sitting at my dining room table writing out my last wishes to my children. Then I cried out to God and all I did was ask for help and it was definitely from my whooole heart… then 💥a phone call.

That phone call got the next few steps rolling. (Those details are for another day, Lord willing).

Thank God for deliverance! 👏🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾💜
