Thank you for your patience while we explored tariff options and assessed the impact on our North America operations. We wanted to exhaust every possibility before making any final decisions.
After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Custom Basins LLC and stop shipping to the United States and Canada.
Recent changes to import tariffs have significantly increased the cost of shipping into the U.S, and we’re unable to absorb these new costs. Passing them on would make our units far too expensive.
We also explored expansion plans that would have allowed a more local operation in the U.S., but these unfortunately didn’t progress as we had planned, which means continuing to ship to Canada is no longer sustainable either.
We want to thank everyone who supported our journey across North America. It’s been a privilege to see our units in both individual and commercial spaces.
Going forward:
If you already own a Custom Basins unit you’ll still be able to reach us via our UK website for support, troubleshooting, and parts where possible - www.custombasins.co.uk
Existing U.S. and Canadian customers with a Custom Pay contract will continue paying as normal. Your agreement is unaffected, and our support remains in place.
This wasn’t a decision we made lightly. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
