What am I getting myself into now? This little red dresser has been redone about 3 times by me. It's last makeover was when I painted it red with chalk paint for Jack's nursery, as we were getting to ready to welcome him to the world 6 years ago!

You saw the makeover I gave my grandparent's dresser for his room to give him more space. So, that means the red dresser will get yet another new look! But boy this paint is stubborn. We'll see how this goes!

All done and back to her home!! This desk and cabinet got some new life. Painted in Marzipan milk paint, sealed with h**p oil. The top is stained in dark walnut and sealed with a satin poly for nice durability! Drop a comment and let me know what you think!

Doing my first commissioned piece! A desk and a storage cabinet. Here’s the “before” in their natural habitat, and in my “workshop.” The first coat of milk paint is always 😱. Just have to trust the process! Doing a dark walnut stain for the top. Going to look amazing!

Here’s the beachy entry table, including the “before” pics. I forgot to take my own before shots so I posted the ones from the marketplace listing. This was a pretty fast project! Sanded the drawer and top. Both turned out to be wood veneer so I had to be careful not to sand too much. Painted with “sea smoke” which is a very light gray. 3 coats, light sand to chip it up and finished with h**p oil. The top and drawer were too yellow so I diluted some sea smoke, painted it on, the wiped with a cloth to stain it. Kind of in love with the transition of that finish!

**Not Available** Little beachy table preview in all her chippy glory! Wasn't sure how this one was going to turn out when I realized halfway through painting that I forgot to add the bonding agent to my paint, which prevents chipping. I wasn't planning on a chippy finish, but I like how this little entry table turned out. Stay tuned for the larger reveal!

Since I have MULTIPLE projects going at once, I’m going to name them so you can follow along with me. 😎

This is “The Daniel”...remember my grandparents dresser that I’m handing down to Jack? I always knew if I had a son, he’d be named after my grandfather. That’s where Jack Daniel comes from. Not the whiskey 🥃.

Daniel got two coats of a custom mixed stain (equal parts special walnut, classic gray, and weathered oak). My original plan was to add cup pulls to the bottom three drawers but since I had to buy a new sander, I’ll use some black k***s I already have.

Last step is to apply poly to the whole piece and add the hardware! Can’t wait to show you all the final reveal!
