Custom table for a very specific space. This thing is a tank with solid mortise and tenon joinery, hefty 2-3/4”slab top, and chip carved rosewood wedges. I found a perfect hourglass shaped slab from that I cut and flipped the live edge to the middle. I cut most of the live edge off and kept a hint of it in the center. There’s a 1/4” gap down the center tied together by 4 rosewood butterflies. I had a lot of fun hashing out the details with the client on this one.
