I really don't have much to say about this one, except that I'm very happy with how everything turned out.

This nightstand has it's feet back under it now. When this one came in to the shop, it was missing three of the bun feet. Sorry, I forgot a before picture!. These were more or less hand sculpted because they are tapered and oval shaped. The feet were finished to match the existing piece and it's back home with the rest of the set

I'm sure you all know that I'm pretty apolitical. And I've never been able to afford to wear my beliefs on my sleeve anyway. Stay safe everybody and we'll see you next week!

Yet another unusual project for us. A contractor that we've worked with for years brought us this pile of doors. His customer want to change the edge profile on these cabinet fronts. Over a hundred in all. Not a complicated job but a weird one.

A little Christmas present for ourselves. This an old Walker-Turner lathe we picked up recently. It's got lots of accessories and a pile of turning gouges. It's a big step up from the old one!

So this is how not to fix something you damaged. Someone damaged the corner of this and proceeded to use nails and wood putty to "fix" it. So instead of bringing it to a professional for an easy repair that would be virtually invisible it needs a new piece glued on and matched. And I have a damaged saw blade!

Sorry for the poor quality pictures. This is a storm window sash for a historic home in Dundee. This is a bit of a first for me. I've done curves and windows before, but not together. Fortunately for me, the customer wanted to finish it themselves including installation. I wasn't arguing, it's an attic window over a 2 story house.
