I’ve been making these rulers since I started woodworking but I haven’t advertised them much because I didn’t have much space to finish them! That’s all changed with the new shop and a paint/spray room that I’ve built inside! These are wonderful baby shower gifts or 1st birthday presents to documents how the little ones grow up! I debated posting this, because it was a challenging project and not exactly the style I want to make when I make furniture. But I’m glad I took on this project because I learned so much! This is a large distressed shadow box coffee table with a hinged glass top shown in action the first picture. From mitered corners, inset glass, distressing the wood, working with felt for the first time… my work was cut out for me. I’ll take all of these lessons to my next projects and they will make me a better craftsman!
