What a joy! I had this woman fall in love with my Buffalo Trace lazy susan. Come to find out why she loved it so much was the cool story. She was the photographer for trace for years before she retired. She said it brought back so many memories.

This week, RoccoWood.USA will be at the Dunedin craft show at 271 Main St., Dunedin, FL. We will be there from 10 AM till 5 PM both Saturday and Sunday. Come out and see the original and authentic wine and whiskey barrel art and pick up a beautiful charcuterie board or any other wine and whiskey barrel related items.

Passion

I have been working with wood since I was a kid. My father (Pai) had taught me the art of swinging a hammer and working hard to get what you want. I remember a quote he once told me, “ Rick, When you find something you that you love and make a living out of it, you will never have to work again” I really believe that now. I have done some great things in my life but none gives me more satisfaction than creating a piece of art and have others love it as much as you do. Making things out of retired barrels or repurposed wood takes time and patience. I just get in a zone and work till I can’t work any more then wonder where the time went. The Bible say, “Don’t look down on small beginnings” We are a small operation now but look out! You never know where passion will bring you.
