Carlton Reese & Buddy Martin –

Publisher and chief writer for The Ocalan, Carlton will present The Golden Season a book about the University of Florida’s latest National Title. He edited and co-wrote this book with authors Franz Beard and Buddy Martin – both nationally recognized and respected sports writers.

Buddy Martin is a veteran Florida sports journalist and media entrepreneur whose work blends decades of sports writing with modern digital media, making him a central figure in Gators and SEC sports coverage.

Carlton & Buddy will be in the house on Saturday, June 6 from 4–6 PM sharing their work and to personally sign copies of their book.

Meet the 34-year Ocala newspaper and magazine columnist, two-time NY Times Chairman’s Award winner and fashion icon.

He has two books of collected columns: Little Man, Big Mouth and Columns, Confessions, and a Brain Cyst. These works follow his familiar journey as a hapless dad and his always-surprising 30+ year career as a newsroom dweller.
