As many of you may be aware, Ramadan for Muslims is a time when we give up food and water during the day. But what many maybe don’t know is that due to Ramadan’s timing, it often means also giving up coffee—and not just during the daylight hours, but often entirely for the whole month. Some Muslims choose to brave the 7pm brew or 4am double shot. But, for most it’s just not feasible, so we give it up entirely, leading to a coffee-free month. Our first sip of coffee after 30 days is on the morning of the Eid celebration.
Let me tell you now from experience, that first sip of coffee on the morning of Eid is absolute, complete, and utter ecstasy. There really is no other word to describe it. It’s unbelievable. I would actually go as far as to recommend to anyone, if you get the chance, give up coffee for a week or two, or a month if you can—just long enough to truly appreciate that first sip again. You’ll experience and appreciate coffee like never before.
So, in the spirit of Eid and that first blissful sip on Eid morning, we’re offering 20% off storewide to everyone, whether you’re celebrating Eid or not. No matter your spiritual orientation or coffee routine, this discount is for you.
To those bringing coffee back into their lives after missing it this month, and to our loyal customers continuing their daily cup—we hope you truly enjoy.
Happy Eid, Eid Mubarak, Eid Kareem, Eid Sa’eed!
I love you all, stay caffeinated,
Mokhtar Alkhanshali
