Thought I'd share a few random facts📝

• I discovered I love refurbishing antique furniture when I worked at a furniture paint store in 2016. Using this clay and chalk based paint led to creating painted and carved signs using it. I love the texture- and it's non-toxic components.

• I have a dabbled in photography, ceramics, painting, and graphic design in the past, trying to find my "thing". Working with wood, I am able to incorporate all the factors of working with my hands, painting, bringing my own designs to life, and product photography with the finished product.

• I am a pretty awful plant mom... I love having plants, but often have to replace their dying co**se with new versions every few weeks. But the ZZ plant here I have been told is near indestructible... so it's helping build my confidence. 😂

So... I guess I took a whole year off from woodworking 🤗 it was around this time last year I hung up my dust mask to take a proper pregnancy leave before Ellie arrived early February. I still get people asking if I'm making signs, and if I'm doing the Christmas boutiques this year. Unfortunately no. While I do miss it, I am so enjoying the time I have watching my baby girl grow. I know this time is precious, and I don't want to look back and realize I missed anything because I tried to 'do it all'. I'm not giving up my business, or cancelling any dreams over here. I am dreaming bigger, and planning better for the sake of my little family. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!🍁
