I only use high quality professional grade, low VOC, mineral and chalk-based products to create an environmentally friendly finished product for your family. These products allow me to create an updated re-imagined piece of furniture that will stand up to today’s active lifestyles. I have always loved to paint furniture, I still display and use pieces that I painted 30 plus years ago. I am particu

larly fond of Farmhouse style, French country style, Sea Side cottage and shabby chic. These well-loved New England décor styles create a warm, family friendly, casual lifestyle atmosphere in a home. My love for history guides me towards choosing older pieces of furniture. Antique and vintage pieces are solid wood created by hand by skilled craftsmen. They possess character and architectural features that are a joy to rejuvenate and transform. I envision what the purpose of the piece was in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. A table, hutch, dresser or a dry sink, what was their function in the residence or tavern that they were used in? This is where the vision and journey of restoration begins. There is nothing more satisfying to me than bringing a piece back to life. The transformation journey produces a fully functional piece that can be utilized in today’s modern family. It is particularly satisfying if it's a revitalization of your Grandmothers piece that's been collecting dust in the basement. Revitalizing your family's precious heirlooms ensures they will be loved and handed down to future generations. My mission is to breathe new life into piece’s that were a part of our New England history and family heritage. Custom restoration services along with finished pieces are available for your consideration. You may also choose a high-quality piece to have customized from the available non-finished inventory.
