Happy National Small Business Week to all the small business owners! We are a husband and wife team who creates, sid and Lucia, refurbishes antiques and cottage bake together. We are about to undergo construction on a new workshop at our home but still baking sourdough specialities for a local cafe and our at home clients. We are among the many small businesses riding the self employed train and wishing everyone much success in 2025 and beyond.

Impressed on condition, once we sand we will figure out best approach? Keep it natural or paint or both. I was told it’s maple but after doing research this may be mahogany. If interested in making this custom, let us know.

We have big plans for our workshop. Currently we work in the basement of our 1916 former RC chapel. Gorgeous stone laid foundation and 11 ft ceilings. But not practical to get furniture in and out of. So for some time we wanted to build an extension and that extension will include our workshop. So hopefully my husband doesn’t intentionally spray me with the latest paint I chose. This will allow us to produce more. Also the basement will become an amazing apartment. The little background on the chapel we bought it in 1916, it did not have septic, well, heat, etc. we had to gut and renovate. It was a long 3 year process but we didn’t give up, but my hair turned grey. It has become a home and now we can utilize it to our advantage a create special things. Let’s hope our plans we can get our plans approved and break ground in 2025. We promise to show you its progress. Thank you for following us, it’s just the beginning.
