Larry has had a passion for woodworking since the 1960’s when he learned quality wood craftsmanship from his father. Growing up on a lake and enjoying wildlife inspired his interest in carving ducks and a variety of other birds/wildlife. In addition to crafting bird houses, he also creates butterflies out of recycled aluminum. A resident of Maryland since 1975, his most satisfying accomplishment h

Catch me this Saturday 06/06/26 from 10am–5pm participating as one of the craft artisans at the Sandy Spring Museum Strawberry Festival. This popular festival returns to the grounds of the Sandy Spring Museum in Sandy Spring. Strawberries are the star of the show, so expect strawberry drinks, strawberry desserts and a strawberry shortcake-eating contest. In addition, there will be a petting zoo, hands-on crafts and demonstrations, a juried craft show and a plant sale. Tickets, available for purchase online, will be required.

My Ducks, Birds and Butterflies display is at the Brookside Gardens gift shop until 6/15/26! All my items in their showcase are available for purchase through their gift shop. The Brookside Gardens are 50 acres of public gardens located within Wheaton Regional Park, at 1800 Glenallan Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20902.
