We are proud to announce that 3 of our lures are now available for purchase at Nana's Organix Grocery Store Grocery Store in North Little Rock’s Agenta district. That’s right you can now purchase Proteus, Kraken and Sunfish all in our weedless style from their store. Not only that but they have a great selection of locally sourced products for sale as well so get down there and check them out. They are located in the Galaxy furniture store on Main Street across from Cregeen’s Irish pub.

Happy October Everyone!!! Thats right, it’s a new month, and that means its time for our monthly feature. This month we would like to put the spotlight on a lure that we like to call The Kraken.

The Kraken is a Black lure with Purple and Blue accents throughout the skirt, head and the soft body Crawdad. This lure is great for this time of year when the Bass have started to retreat to the deeper waters. But if you’re the type of angler that fishes in shallower waters don’t be discouraged, because this lure can also be used in shallow depths depending on the conditions outside.

For all you shallow anglers the Kraken is great on days when there an overcast of clouds and the water is still pretty clear or during the opposite time when the sky is clear but the waters you’re fishing are stained or murky. In fact, one of founders has had tons of luck recently in shallow waters during the right times. SO GET YOURS TODAY!!!

Keep in mind that all our lures are hand made and tested by both our companies founders and we will not sell any lure that has not had any sucess. Now as we like to say at C&P...

Each month we will be featuring a lure with descriptions, which type of conditions are best for that lure, and more…Our intention is to provide as much information about each of our custom lures as possible to make your fishing experience more enjoyable. We have carefully picked each color scheme, and hand crafted each lure to provide for any of your angling needs. That being said…

This month we will be featuring one of my personal favorites, the PROTEUS. The Proteus is a great all a round lure for any beginner in the world of jig fishing. This lure currently comes in Weedless or Bladed with a ⅜ oz.(4/0 Hook) and a ½ oz(5/0 hook) Pumpkin Green and Black speckled head. The skirt is patterned with Pumkin Green and Black stripes and is embedded with Orange mettalic flakes, perfect for a bright sunny day and clear to murky water.
