It’s always a joy working for people who are comfortable with neutrals – that’s my “go-to” aesthetic. These homeowners had just purchased this 4,000+ sq. ft. home and decided that every single surface needed a bit of a refresher. The kitchen ended up being a full remodel, along with the staircase, but every room saw new flooring, paint, and light fixtures. Quite a few requests in the kitchen is to make them light and airy. In this space, we went with off-white cabinets, a white oak island, and balanced it with black hardware. The family room is attached to this space so we kept it neutral until we got to the fireplace wall. We brought in concrete looking tile, a white oak mantle, and painted the built-in cabinets a dark earthy green.

This remodel started with a flooring issue and turned into a kitchen remodel. Since the flooring was needing to be replaced throughout the home, it was a great time to remodel the kitchen with a slight layout change. We brought in a light hardwood flooring (White Oak) and repurposed the leftover into a beautiful wall treatment to encompass the kitchen cabinets. One of the homeowners is an artist so this became a fun collaboration between us on selecting finishes and just the right green for the cabinets… the rest of the details, like the Quartz countertop and the brass hardware help to complete the light and warm tones in this open concept room.

We finished the design and build of this beautiful Nordic home here in Newberg... it was a 1984 Ranch that has an amazing view of the Willamette valley and Mt. Hood. We demoed it down to the studs, added on quite a few sq. ft (Primary Suite!), and updated every surface and moved almost every existing wall in the home.

Then "Houses Around the NW" came out and interviewed us!

Nestled on three private acres, this 4,566 square-foot, show-stopping home is a perfect mix of new construction and stunning renovation.

This sweet 1910 home in McMinnville, OR is on the market! We restored this home to what we hope honors it's history. There's a lot to share, so this is Part I (the main level), of what we inherited (BEFORE) and what we accomplished (AFTER). It was a project full of headaches but it was well worth it. Enjoy!

Hi everyone! We are still around - just took some time away from social media during these covid years! However, we've been working on some great projects and we're excited to start sharing again.

This project was a full Design + Remodel of the entire 1st floor. The original floor plan consisted of a lot of walls with tiny rooms. So we opened up the space, enlarged the foot print of the kitchen, and added a powder bathroom for guests. There are a lot of moments that we enjoy from this design: the custom staircase, the custom metal handrail & 2 fireplaces (!), the inviting living room, white oak kitchen cabinets...

We hope you enjoy our inspiration of a "Modern + Oregon + Warm" vibe!

BEFORE & AFTER: We are officially looking forward to the holiday season over here! This kitchen was needing better function, an update to every surface, and a space that felt a bit more joyful for our clients. We would love to prep a great family (and holiday) meal in this kitchen!
