One of our most magnifique installs to date, and what a canvas to create within … ! 10,000 square feet right on Georgica Pond with Atlantic views between Wainscott and East Hampton.

There was water and greenery everywhere so our goal was to let this marvel of a home (and basically its own private park!) shine shine shine … although how can you not have a little fun when there are numerous kitchens, living rooms, libraries, bedrooms upon bathrooms upon powder rooms to dress up like this marvel deserves!

An idyllic farmhouse from 1845 in Germantown, NY we recently had the pleasure in furnishing. 💛

When you have the opportunity to create within an exceptional canvas like this, the goal is not to lessen the integrity of the home’s provenance & aesthetics with crummy furniture that won’t last a blip as long as the house or its materials.

So how do you so with a budget in mind?

* Mix high and low where your more expensive furniture is dedicated to the most trafficked areas — think dining & coffee tables, dressers, and sofas.

* Incorporate old with new — we recommend antique or vintage for your more wood-appropriate items like dining, coffee or side tables and nightstands, as they will withstand the test of time thus giving a space layers and soul.

* For maximum flexibility, like when you aren’t sure about a piece or don’t want to make a big commitment, you are welcome to rent-to-own with yours truly. Every dollar spent renting counts toward a purchase, something you’ll only find at ZZ.

Lastly, a major new collection is coming soon! We can’t wait to reveal what history and fine craftsmanship collectively offer for our homes, spirits and — might we even say — pocketbooks.

She’s back! Our one-of-a-kind textile once owned by Dolly Sinatra (yes, Frank’s mother!) is back at ZZ HQ after a meticulous cleaning and now ready for its forever home. Also, this rug is particularly special to us — and heads up this might seem a little heavy — as Dolly Sinatra used to perform (then illegal) abortions from her home in Hoboken, NJ where this rug purportedly lived for years. Whoever purchases this grand piece we will make a donation to in your honor. The lion’s strength and Greek key motif, which symbolizes the eternal flow of life, are especially resonant with this incredible textile. ♥️

Fresh powder + a freshly restored post and beam = Hudson Valley heaven.

Check out the stunning that we fully restored and furnished in Pine Plains, NY. We’re super proud of this one as it was a total glow up utilizing the home’s existing red oak posts and beams, and then the furniture found within is available for rent or purchase from yours truly.

The best part? You can enjoy the home — just like our furniture available on demand — when you want, for as long as you need.

We can’t get over how simply radiant the recent breakfast was that yours truly got to furnish❣️

True to the London-based brand’s offerings, the event did not shy away from color, allowing some of our boldest & brightest pieces to be on full display. And holy smokes did they ever shine!

From our authentic & iconic chocolate cherry and mint Prouvè Standard Chairs, to our vintage & super fun science lab spinning stools (from a girl’s boarding school in the northeast, no less!), to ’s awesomely original braided leather lounge chairs and perforated steel side tables designed and made in Long Beach, CA, we loved creating space alongside Matilda Goad and seeing what inspiration we could conjure up together.
