It started with a painting. Seurat’s “A Man Leaning on a Parapet” – all muted tone, quiet depth, and the calming use of color that he was known for.

We built from there. “Rizz” for the purple. “Midnight Showing” on the island. “Cougar” on the shelves. All working together to create a warm, grounding space.

Three colors, one painting, and the Whit door style that ties it all together. A kitchen that knows exactly what it is.

Consider us obsessed.

At some point it stops being about cabinets. It's about finally having a home that feels like you walked into it and thought – yes. This is it.

That feeling is our bread and butter.

Everything is a choice. The sink placement. The cabinet colors that look different, and somehow better, every hour of the day. The light fixture you almost didn’t pick. The flowers you rotate just because it makes the room feel alive.

When you work with us, nothing gets left to chance — and nothing gets overlooked.

That’s just how we work.

Picture this: before you went to bed last night, you cleaned the kitchen. Really cleaned it. Every surface wiped, every dish put away, every drawer so organized it would make a Container Store employee emotional. The junk drawer, full of the little things you’ll definitelyyyy need one day. The tupperware drawer? Immaculate, as always – lids and bases matched and stacked like they actually love each other. Kitchen therapy at its finest.

You wake up to soft morning light, shadows dancing across the counter, fresh flowers basking in the light. The kitchen is exactly as you left it. Still perfect. Still yours.

That’s what we mean when we say sweet dreams.

Picking the right color could start from anywhere. A painting above a fireplace. A glazed vase on an antique store shelf. A screenshot you saved two years ago and kept coming back to.

For Anne’s kitchen, it was an oil painting with a vibrant frame – deep reds, rich shadow tones, and a whole moment. We built within that same tonal world: a red we call “Laser Tag,” moody floral wallpaper, delicious marble slabs, and a warm buttery yellow we know as “Matinee.” Related, but distinct. The kind of palette that feels inevitable once you’re standing in it.

That’s what we’re always after.

What a week. Goals set. Tile + wallpaper showrooms explored. A wine fridge + seltzer dispenser we didn’t know we needed — thank you . Our work, finally seen with our own eyes (we may have said too much). Spring in NYC, fully appreciated. Borough lines + state lines, crossed. Our client visited + thriving in her new Isla kitchen – just in case you were curious. And above all, the rare and wonderful thing of being together in person.
