Custom L-shaped bench delivered and installed. The client was looking for custom dimensions for this breakfast nook - and it fit perfect! We decided to go with Maple hardwood - and stained a dark walnut. Made the panels on the router table with hardwood and maple plywood insert. We worked with the client to continuously darker the stain until it met their vision. Briar was the ultimate winner - and finished with four coats of Satin for both durability and visual appeal. On to the next project tomorrow…!

Another cool story from a client. Her and her sister hand painted these cups about 60 years ago! They did it with their father who has passed. The cups meant a lot to them - and their dad would like to drink hot buttered rum out of them. The cups brought back a lot of good memories but they were tucked away in a closet.

We made a proper home for them and now the client can display them proudly! Box is made from a mix of walnut and white out. Used box joints for style. Brass hinges made a nice touch. The cups fit perfectly with no clanging.

Floating shelves installed to complete the new kitchen area. Used the miter fold technique that I studied from the GOAT himself . He has a lot of helpful videos on IG and YouTube - make sure to check him out. When he slides his floating shelves on the brackets they make a very distinct sound to show tightness.

I don’t always get a kiss from a happy customer upon installation - but when i do it ensures a job well done!

I knew I would finally use all this scrap wood piling up around the shop! And what could be a better use than some meaningful boards made for some very special people. Finished with Personalized engraving by as usual - always helping me make one of a kind pieces.

New sign built and installed for Bay Crest beach community in Huntington Bay. Watch out now… speed bumps ahead! This sign is not only beautiful - but it will keep the community aware of the bumps. Safe driving everybody. I channeled my inner to get this project built and installed… he’s the real pro in this arena!

Always nice to work with friends enjoying some manual labor together on a nice Fall day.

Another unique project in the books. The call went like this… “can you build me a 9ft x 6ft nativity set on top of my trailer?”. I said of course… then tried to figure out how that would be possible. Being it was a nativity set I prayed a lot and then the vision appeared. The members of the nativity set sat and watched as we built their structure. In the end the client was very very pleased - and so was the baby Jesus! The nativity set will be displayed in Kings Park for the season. Be sure to stop by - but hopefully just for a visit! Thanks for help from on this one. Couldn’t have done it without him.

Really fun project complete for . She came up with a great idea for a mobile cart for her business. The catch was she asked of it could be broken down in pieces for easy travel to and from her clients. Will post the big reveal tomorrow!

First delivery since being back from vacation. Outside farmhouse table for a big time designer . We worked together on the design of this piece for her outdoor dining room - and she was very pleased. 9ft long to fit lots of family and friends. May they make many memories enjoying meals at this handcrafted table. I tried not to use many fasteners and just tight joints to secure the base together. Overall it was a fun first project getting back to reality.
