I started piano at the age of five, lucky enough to learn on my mother’s exquisite mahogany Schimmel grand. Playing piano gradually became a source of joy and comfort for me, but like most pianists, I knew nothing about the inner workings of a piano. When I inherited that same Schimmel, along with the responsibility to maintain it, I realized how wonderful it would be to be able to care for the in

strument myself, along with my grandmother’s piano, my godparents’, or anyone else I loved. I wanted to ensure that the same joy and comfort I find in playing was available to anyone with a piano in their home. Now I want to be able to provide that same opportunity to you, not only in homes, but classrooms, rehearsal venues, performance spaces, and anywhere else where music needs to be heard.
