Since 2005, The Gwen Geddy Memorial Scholarship has awarded seniors at New Smyrna Beach High School with over $13,000 in renewable scholarships during the NSBHS Honors Night Ceremony. Recipients vary in qualifications and career goals, but the one common denominator is that they all carry the spirit of Gwen into their college endeavors. For those who did not have the privilege of personally knowing Gwen, she was a bright, vivid young woman who had an unparalleled spirit and a passion for life. The Gwen Geddy Memorial Scholarship Committee is dedicated to continuing to provide this opportunity to students within our community in memory of Gwen; but cannot do it without your help! We are seeking donations to replenish the fund that has been going strong since the inception of the scholarship, ten years ago, that could not have been made possible without her friends, family and community. No donation is too small and would be greatly appreciated. Checks can be made payable to: Gwen Geddy Memorial Scholarship and can be sent to Heather Paternoster,1414 Art Center Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32168.
