Maison de Luca Design is a full service design firm. Working with contractors from start to finish on a job, MDL handles the entire interior of the house. Working within the overall job estimate, we create, maintain and track the individual finish material budgets. We purchase all finish materials, including but not limited to: plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, cabinets, counter
tops, tile, flooring, finish hardware and doors. We coordinate delivery of all materials with homeowners, builder and subcontractors. We keep immaculate records of all receipts and budgets. In addition to purchasing finish materials, Margot is also AutoCAD-proficient, able to draw cabinet elevations and layouts, floor plans, electrical plans, and furniture plans. Other services include interior and exterior paint color selection and design/selection of exterior architectural design elements such as shutters, trim and soffit brackets. MDL Design serves the Greater New Orleans areas of Uptown, Metairie, Old Metairie, Downtown, Warehouse District, CBD, as well as the entire Gulf Coast region. Homeowners:
Maison de Luca Design is a full service design firm offering homeowners the services of consulting and full service design and project management. Consulting services consist of helping the homeowner to choose paint colors, wallpaper, art, wall décor, light fixtures, rugs and textiles, furniture, flooring, tile, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, appliances, cabinets, countertops, doors, finish hardware and any other materials needed. MDL can also provide AutoCAD-drawn furniture plans to the homeowner as part of the consulting service. Full service design and project management consists of creating all individual budgets within the total materials budget, purchasing and ordering of all materials, coordinating delivery of all materials, coordinating installation of all materials with homebuilder and subcontractors, keeping organized file of all receipts, purchase orders, estimates and specifications, and keeping organized file of budget tracking.
