The latest Revive Refinishing kitchen. This dark kitchen with low, oppressive soffits and small thermofoil cabinets has been completely transformed. Some of the modifications included: elimination of soffits, cabinet riser built above the existing upper cabinets to provide extra storage and height to the ceiling, a new quartz countertop installed, lighting was reconfigured, all doors and hardware replaced with shaker style, new cabinets were custom built above the refrigerator and the desk area completely modified to operate more like a bar. FROM GRIMY TO GORGEOUS! Same color transitions are often hard to capture in photos, but it’s obvious to see in these Before & Afters that a little TLC from the Revive Refinishing team goes a long way! After years of wear and tear and a thick build up of soot from a gas burning fireplace, Revive Refinishing was able to make these original RUTT cabinets look brand new again. A few other alterations like converting an old style trash compactor to an updated pullout and replacing the outdated tambour roll up with a door brings this kitchen up to date for it’s new owners. Custom Range Hood Update by Revive Refinishing.

Truly one of our funnest projects yet! This all vintage 50's kitchen with original doors and hardware has been restored to a timeless beauty. Sorely damaged from wear over time and the customers valiant but not so professional attempt to refinish on their own, this kitchen needed a lot of TLC. The old laminate counters were replaced with soapstone, carpentry reparations were made to the damaged wood areas, and a new Benjamin Moore "Wedding Veil White" finish was professionally sprayed on the doors, drawers, and cabinet boxes. The original cup hardware and exposed hinges were restored and repurposed to keep the kitchen tied to its' vintage roots. The original appliances, cool as they were, have been replaced with updated models as well. This post toggles back and forth between before and after pics . . . the change is amazing.

It was an “Eider” White Christmas for this Revive Refinishing customer’s kitchen. A new Merry and Bright cabinet finish sets off the marble counters and backsplash perfectly.
