Getting into your first home is exciting & furnishing it is the jewelry. I love that these clients were open to just about anything as far as design choices & mixing old with new. Loved using their own artwork in a new configuration, family heirlooms & capturing natural light in both spaces.

“Kristi was a joy to work with on our first floor decorating project. She quickly understood the look we were going for, found a great selection of samples and pivoted quickly when we changed our minds.

Kristi was also patient with us as we moved furniture around - at her suggestion - to take advantage of what we already owned. When it was clear that strategy wouldn’t work, Kristi helped us purchase quality items at prices that fit our budget.

After & Before - Living Room refresh with truly the smallest of changes & only a few new & FB marketplace purchases.

Starting with the gorgeous vibrant painting by - moved it from the right of the fireplace to above the mantel, making it the true focal point & accentuating the high ceiling.

Next the scale of the ottoman & rug needed a change. The leather channeled square ottoman was found second-hand (but was new!) on FB & the larger rug came from Home Goods.

Lastly we hung a family vintage mirror (found in their attic) to the left of the fireplace & added new draperies . Just love it all! It feels like a brand new room & really opens up the entertaining space.

The blue bedroom is taking shape! Art has been installed, family heirlooms moved in, new headboard, bed & custom pillows have arrived. Again, the color!!! Just love this client & her love of bright, beautiful, cozy surroundings filled with family history. Next goal, window treatments.

Which wallpaper for the sitting room? The inspiration colors are utilized in the living room & dining space - now we are adding a side room, perfect for entertaining & extending the living area. Two beautiful, vibrant Palm Beach inspired choices with drapery & rug options as well.

So looking forward to the finished space filled with family photos, art & heirloom antiques.

This geometric fabric really was the very beginning. Back in the fall, we started planning for this family room rearrangement with new furnishings. The fabric swatch jumped out as THE one. From there we built the room with the mid-century accent chair, sisal rug & an x stitched buff ottoman that perfectly echoes the wavy diamonds below. Love the layers!

A delicate & sparkling new ceiling fixture is now hovering over the front door. As with many historic homes, this entrance opens right into the living room so I wanted to designate a bit of separation between the two.

The vintage red sofa & clients’ art is the focal point. In order to complement with the lighting, rather than compete, this flush mount is just it!

It feels like those beautiful clouds are inside!
