I have completed my latest project, a coffee bar/bookcase crafted from blue pine and walnut veneers. This solid wood piece boasts substantial weight even without books. The veneers, which were cut from a single piece of walnut featuring a mix of straight grain and curl, were shop-made. Additionally, the case is equipped with Teflon-coated leveling feet to prevent scratching or gouging of floors during movement for cleaning.
